Dense old core
The centre is a close mesh of narrow lanes with few open spaces. At poster scale it reads as a dark, finely textured area in the middle of the sheet.

Khurja Map Poster & Print
Khurja stands on the level plain of western Uttar Pradesh, in Bulandshahr district, where the land barely rises for many kilometres. The town shows up on a map as a tight, dense core with narrow lanes and a few wider roads leading outward. Beyond it the streets quickly give way to agricultural land, so the settlement has a clear outline.
The town is widely known for its ceramics. Khurja pottery, with its glazed plates, vases and decorative pieces, is sold across India, and many small workshops and kilns are part of everyday town life. A railway line passes nearby, and roads link Khurja to Bulandshahr, Aligarh and the wider Delhi region.
A Khurja map poster works best as a study of density. The fine grain of the old lanes sits against the simpler geometry of the roads and rail, and the empty fields around the edges frame it. It is a quiet, understated composition that suits a home office or hallway.

Radiating roads
Several main roads leave the town in different directions toward neighbouring cities, giving the plan a loose star shape against the flat surroundings.
Railway line
A rail line crosses the area in a long straight stroke, one of the few perfectly straight elements on the map, contrasting with the irregular town streets.
