Kothakota Map Poster & Print
Kothakota lies on the Deccan plateau in southern Telangana, in country that is mostly open farmland. On a map, the town shows up as a dense cluster of short, irregular lanes around a few main roads. Past the last houses, the streets break up into field tracks. Scattered water tanks, the reservoirs typical of this part of the Deccan, appear as rounded shapes among the plots.
The structure of the place comes from roads rather than rivers or coastlines. A major route runs through the area and gives the map a firm axis, and smaller roads fan out from the centre towards neighbouring villages. That radiating pattern is common in Deccan market towns, and at poster scale it gives the image a clear centre and a strong sense of direction.
A Kothakota map poster shows this plainly: a compact core, the lines leading out of it and the wide, lightly marked land around it. The picture is spare, with no famous skyline to lean on, and that suits people who know the town itself. For them it is home or a family origin, drawn at the scale of daily life.

Village tanks
Irrigation tanks dot the plateau around town. In black and white their soft, irregular outlines stand out against the straight field boundaries.
Compact old core
The oldest part of town is a close mesh of narrow lanes. It is the darkest area on the poster and stands out clearly from the open land around it.
