Hillside lanes
Roads wind along the contours of the hill instead of cutting straight across, producing a looping, branching street pattern that looks almost hand-drawn in black and white.

Kudappanakkunnu Map Poster & Print
Kudappanakkunnu is a residential area in the northern part of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. The name ends in kunnu, the Malayalam word for hill, and the map confirms it: streets curve around slopes rather than running in straight lines, and small lanes branch off to reach houses set in green plots. The result is an irregular, organic pattern quite unlike a planned grid.
The neighbourhood is known across the district as the home of the Civil Station, where many district offices are grouped, and of the Doordarshan Kendra for Thiruvananthapuram. These larger compounds appear on the map as broad open blocks among finer residential streets. Around them, the lanes of homes, temples and shops keep the texture dense but low.
A Kudappanakkunnu map poster suits people who grew up here, worked at the Civil Station or simply know these slopes by heart. Framed at neighbourhood scale, it shows the web of lanes in close detail; zoomed out, it places the area within the wider city, spread over the low Kerala hills inland from the Arabian Sea coast.

Civil Station
The district Civil Station occupies a large compound whose outline stands out as an open block amid the fine grain of the surrounding residential streets.
Green plots
Much of the area is still divided into leafy house plots, so the poster shows generous white space between streets, a quieter look than the central city districts.

Zakaj Kudappanakkunnu
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Neighbourhood maps are among the most personal ones: the lane you walked to school, the junction where the bus stopped. Kudappanakkunnu is small enough that every road feels familiar, and a clean print turns that familiarity into something worth framing.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or the year you moved, and pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the framing first.
