Square block grid
The town consists of regular square blocks on a tight grid, the classic pampas plan. In print it produces a striking, almost textile-like pattern.

Lincoln Map Poster & Print
Lincoln lies in the northwest of Buenos Aires province, in the flat heart of the Argentine pampas. Like many towns founded on the plains in the nineteenth century, it follows a strict grid. Square blocks of equal size surround a central plaza, and wide avenues mark the edges of the original plan. Beyond them, the land opens into large, regular fields.
The town is widely known for its carnival, which is recognised nationally for its handmade floats and costumes built by local groups. For most of the year life here follows the agricultural calendar, and the routes to the surrounding farms and neighbouring towns cross the plains in long, straight lines.
A Lincoln map poster is almost pure geometry. The central square, the repeated blocks and the boulevards form a precise pattern with the endless fields around it. The eye goes straight to the plaza at the centre, which is exactly how the town was designed to be read.

Central plaza
The main square sits at the centre of the grid, with civic buildings and the church around it. It forms the natural focal point of the whole composition.
Pampas fields
Outside town, straight rural roads divide the flat land into large rectangles. They are drawn finely, so the dense grid of the town stands out clearly.

Zakaj Lincoln
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Lincoln belongs on the wall of anyone who spent carnival summers there, grew up in the grid or left for Buenos Aires and still thinks of it as home. The plan is so orderly that the map almost looks like a drawing.
Add a personal title, a subtitle and your own coordinates line, then pick one of five styles. Blueprint suits the geometry especially well, while Classic black & white keeps it simple.
