Contour-following streets
Roads curve along valleys and around hillsides instead of forming straight lines, giving the map an organic, flowing quality typical of the Chongqing hills.

Linfeng Map Poster & Print
Linfeng lies within the municipality of Chongqing in southwestern China, a region known for steep hills, deep river valleys and terraced farmland. Like many small towns in the area, its shape is dictated by terrain rather than by any planned grid.
From above, the built area follows the contours of the land. Streets run along valley floors and bend around hillsides, while buildings cluster where the ground allows. Around the town the landscape is a mosaic of slopes, small fields and winding rural roads that trace ridges and hollows.
A Linfeng map poster renders this hill-country pattern in clean black line. Curving roads and irregular blocks show how the town fits itself into the landscape. It is a personal map for those with roots in the area, and a striking study of terrain-shaped streets for anyone else.

Clustered building
Buildings gather where level ground permits, so the town appears as a series of denser pockets linked by winding routes rather than a single solid block.
Folded countryside
Around the town, small fields and rural lanes weave through a deeply folded landscape, filling the margins of the poster with fine, irregular lines.
