Lingolsheim Map Poster & Print
Lingolsheim is a commune just south-west of Strasbourg, part of the Eurométropole in Alsace. On a map it is hard to say where the city ends and the town begins. Residential streets continue directly from Strasbourg's outer districts, and a tram line connects Lingolsheim with the centre. Toward the south and west, the built-up area opens onto water and green space.
The streets are mostly suburban. Older lanes follow the lines of the original village, and newer housing forms curving closes and cul-de-sacs. Rail lines and main roads cut through the area as strong, straight bands. Lakes formed in old gravel workings lie at the edge of the commune, and the green corridor of the Bruche sits nearby. These give the map several smooth, open shapes.
A Lingolsheim map poster suits residents, and anyone who has lived at the quieter end of the tram line. It shows the Alsatian mix of village and city on a single sheet. The outline is intricate and domestic, and the lakes and green edges keep it from feeling crowded.

Lakes at the edge
Water bodies left by former gravel extraction add smooth, pale shapes at the edge of the commune, a calm contrast to the dense housing.
Village to suburb
The old village streets are still visible in the middle of newer housing estates. They form a small, irregular core inside a more planned pattern.
