Lithia Springs Map Poster & Print
Lithia Springs is a community in Douglas County, Georgia, on the western edge of metro Atlanta. It is named after mineral springs containing lithium salts, which made it a well-known health resort in the late nineteenth century. Bottled water from the springs is still sold today.
On a map, suburban streets curve through wooded, hilly land. Cul-de-sacs and loops branch off a few main roads. Interstate 20 runs across the area as a strong straight line. To the south lies Sweetwater Creek State Park, where the creek winds through a rocky valley past the ruins of the New Manchester textile mill, burned during the Civil War.
A Lithia Springs map poster shows a typical Atlanta suburb shaped by the local terrain and water. The winding creek and its forested banks add natural contrast to the pattern of residential streets. The interstate brings the area's close ties to the city into the picture, and the whole makes a well-balanced, detailed print.
