Liuquan Map Poster & Print
Liuquan lies on the flat North China Plain, north of the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu province. The terrain is almost level, and from above the town reads as a set of long, straight roads, with rectangular blocks of housing and industrial compounds between them. Farmland fills the gaps, divided into narrow strips that give the surroundings a fine, linear texture.
Xuzhou has long been a crossroads between north and south China, and that role shows in the transport lines that cross the wider area. Around Liuquan, highways and railway alignments run in confident straight lines, and water channels and ponds break the surface here and there. The pattern mixes planned development with older village clusters that follow their own logic.
A Liuquan map poster turns this plain-side landscape into a clear graphic study. Straight arteries, compact blocks and field lines create a rhythm quite different from that of a historic walled city. For people from the town, it is an honest portrait of home. For others, it is a study in how settlement meets flat agricultural land.

Village clusters
Older settlements appear as small, tightly packed groups of buildings between the fields. Their irregular shapes contrast with the planned modern blocks.
Field strips
Narrow agricultural plots surround the town in parallel bands, adding a delicate texture to the margins of the map.
