Longview Map Poster & Print
Longview is one of the few American cities designed in full before most of it was built. Timber magnate Robert A. Long founded it in the 1920s as a home for the Long-Bell Lumber Company's mills and workers. From above, the plan is still easy to read: broad avenues radiate from a civic centre, and residential streets curve around a long, park-lined lake.
The city sits at the confluence of the Cowlitz and Columbia rivers. Water shapes much of its outline, with the Columbia along the south and mill sites and port facilities along the shore. Lake Sacajawea runs through the middle of town in a slender curve. The Lewis and Clark Bridge crosses the Columbia to Rainier, Oregon, as a single line over the river.
A Longview map poster suits the city's deliberate design. Few towns of its size have such a clearly intentional street plan, with diagonals, a formal centre and a lake used as an organising spine. In black and white, that planning reads almost like an architectural drawing.

Lake Sacajawea
A long, narrow lake curves through the city inside a continuous strip of parkland, giving the map a flowing shape through its residential districts.
Two rivers meet
The Cowlitz joins the Columbia at the city's edge, and the wide Columbia channel with its bridge to Oregon frames the southern side of the poster.

Zakaj Longview
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Longview's plan is something you notice once you see it drawn, and many residents only appreciate it from above. A poster of the city suits anyone who grew up by Lake Sacajawea, worked the riverfront or simply likes a well-designed town.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line. The Blueprint style fits a city designed on paper, while Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand give other moods. HD files are $9, with a free 900 px watermarked preview first.
