Roads meeting centrally
Lubata's shape is defined by the roads that converge near its centre. Seen from above, they form a simple, legible junction that holds the poster together.

Lubata Map Poster & Print
Lubata lies in Morogoro Region in eastern Tanzania, north of the regional capital, and has around eighteen thousand residents. Seen from above, it is a rural town rather than a city. A handful of roads meet near its centre, and homes and plots extend along them in narrow ribbons. The map records a place shaped by agriculture and by the routes that carry people and harvests to the wider region.
Morogoro Region is varied country. It takes in mountain ranges, river plains and broad stretches of cultivated land, and its rivers eventually drain toward the Indian Ocean. Around Lubata, the map is mostly open space broken by field boundaries, footpaths and seasonal watercourses. That openness is what makes the town's few defined streets stand out. They become the anchor of the whole composition.
A Lubata map poster reduces all of this to fine black lines on a pale ground. The roads leading into town carry most of the visual weight. The lighter paths and the gaps between them suggest farmland without spelling it out. It is a spare, honest portrait of a working rural place, drawn with the same care as any capital and sized for a wall rather than a road atlas.

Ribbon settlement
Houses and plots line the approach roads instead of filling a dense block. On the map this reads as slim bands of detail stretching outward into open ground.
Farmed landscape
The land around Lubata is largely agricultural. Paths and tracks cross it in fine, irregular lines, and the white space between them lets the design breathe.
