Lubliniec Map Poster & Print
Lubliniec lies in the north of Upper Silesia, Poland, close to the historic edge of the region and surrounded by extensive pine forests. On a map the town has a clear historic centre, a rectangular market square with streets leading off in several directions, and around it a wider ring of housing estates, villas and gardens that soon give way to woodland.
Railway lines converge on Lubliniec from several directions, making it a notable junction in the region, and their long, gently curving tracks are among the strongest graphic elements of the map. The town is also home to the Polish Army's commando unit, Jednostka Wojskowa Komandosów, whose presence is part of its modern identity. Forest roads and clearings fill the margins of any wider frame.
The philosopher Edith Stein, later canonised, had family roots here: her mother was born in Lubliniec, and the town honours her memory. A Lubliniec map poster brings that layered history together in a clean composition of market square, railways and forest edge. Paper and Sand bring out the warmth of the old town, while Noir sharpens the lines of track.

Railway junction
Several rail lines meet at Lubliniec, and their long converging curves cut across the map, adding strong directional lines to the composition.
Forest edge
Pine forest surrounds much of the town, so a wider frame shows the streets giving way to broad wooded areas crossed only by thin paths and roads.
