Lushnjë Map Poster & Print
Lushnjë lies in central Albania on the edge of the Myzeqe plain, one of the most important farming areas in the country. The land around the town is almost perfectly flat, and it has been shaped by drainage channels that turned former marshland into fields.
Lushnjë holds an important place in Albanian history. In 1920 the Congress of Lushnjë met here, affirmed Albania's independence and chose Tirana as the capital. The town is often described as having been Albania's capital for a short time as a result.
On the map, the town is compact and fairly regular, with a central area and residential blocks around it. Past the last streets, the plain takes over with long straight roads, canals and rectangular fields in a pattern that looks almost engineered. A Lushnjë map poster pairs that careful rural geometry with the modest town at its centre.

Drainage canals
Straight channels cross the surrounding plain. They were dug to reclaim former marshland and draw precise lines across the map.
Myzeqe farmland
Rectangular fields reach outward from the town in every direction. They give the poster a calm, ordered background.
