Crossroads town
Luwingu grew where regional roads meet, and the junction reads clearly on the poster as the point from which the rest of the street pattern unfolds.

Luwingu Map Poster & Print
Luwingu is the administrative centre of its district in Zambia's Northern Province, on the high plateau between the great lakes and wetlands of the north. The surrounding land is mostly woodland and farmland, and from above the town is a modest cluster where a few roads meet before spreading out again.
The Bangweulu wetlands lie to the south, and the whole region is drained by streams heading toward that basin. On a map the result is a landscape of gentle slopes and thin watercourses, with Luwingu's streets appearing as a small, clearly defined node inside a large, open field.
A Luwingu map poster favours space over density. The town's roads, markets and residential areas occupy the centre of the frame, and the lines gradually thin into tracks and footpaths. It is a calm, minimal composition that reflects how settlement sits within this broad plateau.

Plateau woodland
Wide areas of miombo woodland and farmland surround the town, leaving generous empty space around the streets and giving the print an airy, uncluttered feel.
Toward Bangweulu
Small streams on the map drain toward the Bangweulu basin to the south, adding fine, wandering lines to the otherwise quiet surroundings of the town.
