Town centre
A compact grid of streets marks the poblacion, where the municipal hall, market and main roads meet. It is the densest point on the map.

Magsaysay Map Poster & Print
Magsaysay is a municipality in Davao del Sur, on the island of Mindanao, in the interior between the coastal lowlands and higher ground to the west. From above, the town centre is a small cluster of streets. Around it lies a wide agricultural landscape of fields and plantations, with rural roads linking barangays scattered across the terrain.
Like many municipalities in the region, Magsaysay depends largely on farming, and the pattern of its land shows it. Streams and small rivers cut across the fields, and the road network follows the shape of the ground rather than a grid. The town is named after Ramon Magsaysay, the Philippine president of the 1950s, as are several other places in the country.
A Magsaysay map poster is a portrait of a rural place, not a city. The centre shows as a modest knot of lines, and the rest of the frame is taken up by winding roads, waterways and open land. It suits anyone who knows the area, and it has the quiet, spacious look that makes countryside maps pleasant to live with.

Rural road web
Farm-to-market roads branch outward to outlying barangays and follow the contours of the land. They form a thin, irregular network across the frame.
Streams and fields
Small rivers and creeks cross the agricultural land and give the open areas of the poster their gentle, flowing texture.
