Orange Line corridor
The rapid transit and commuter tracks slice straight through the centre of town. Their long, unbroken line gives the busy street pattern a clear spine.

Malden Map Poster & Print
Malden sits just north of Boston, and from above it reads as a dense patchwork of residential blocks that stop suddenly at green space. Streets run in short, irregular grids rather than one long plan. They were laid down neighbourhood by neighbourhood as the town filled in, and on paper the effect is a fine, even texture broken by a few longer arterial roads heading toward the city.
Two lines give the map its structure. The MBTA Orange Line and the commuter rail run north to south through the centre, a clean straight cut through the blocks. To the east, the narrow Malden River edges the city with industrial parcels and newer development. Malden has one more claim to fame: the Converse rubber shoe company was founded here in 1908, long before its canvas sneakers travelled the world.
A Malden map poster keeps all of this in plain black and white. The rail corridor, the river edge, the tight residential grain and the open ground toward the Middlesex Fells come through as line and space. Nothing needs labelling, because anyone who has lived here will recognise the streets.

Malden River edge
On the eastern side the slim Malden River curves past former industrial land. It shows as a soft, winding boundary against the more regular blocks to the west.
Toward the Fells
Along the northern fringe the street grid gives way to wooded parkland. On a monochrome print this becomes a quiet open field at the top of the frame.

Zakaj Malden
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Malden is the kind of place people move to for a first apartment near Boston and then stay for years. A poster of its streets marks that chapter: the walk to the station, the square, the block where you lived.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a moving-in date, and the coordinates line, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as a $9 set of HD files or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
