Mississinewa River
The river winds through Marion from southeast to northwest, and its bends and wooded banks form the most organic line on the map, crossed by a handful of bridges.

Marion Map Poster & Print
Marion is the seat of Grant County in north-central Indiana, and from above it reads like many Midwestern towns: a square grid of streets laid over flat ground. What sets it apart is the Mississinewa River, which cuts through the town on a slant and pulls parks, bridges and bends of floodplain into an otherwise orderly plan.
The downtown sits around the courthouse square, with blocks of houses spreading outward in every direction until the grid thins into section-line roads and farm fields. Rail corridors and state highways cross the town at their own angles, adding long straight lines that break up the rhythm of the smaller streets and give the map a clear structure.
Marion is widely known as the birthplace of the actor James Dean, who was raised on a farm in nearby Fairmount, and it is home to Indiana Wesleyan University, whose campus adds a looser pattern of paths and buildings on the south side. A Marion map poster captures that mix of river, grid and campus in a single, quiet composition.

Courthouse square grid
The historic centre follows a tight, regular grid focused on the Grant County courthouse, the kind of pattern that looks especially crisp in black and white.
University campus
Indiana Wesleyan University occupies a large parcel on the south side, where curving drives and open lawns contrast with the straight residential blocks around it.

Zakaj Marion
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people who grew up in Marion or studied at Indiana Wesleyan, the map is a way to keep the town's layout close: the river you crossed every day, the square downtown, the roads out toward the fields. It works well in a hallway, study or dorm room.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a graduation year or the date you moved, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
