Apartment clusters
Large residential complexes show as neat groups of parallel blocks. They form a regular, repeated texture that is typical of Korean cities seen from above.

Masan Map Poster & Print
This Masan map is centred on a point in the Gwangju area of southwestern South Korea, in the gently hilly country of South Jeolla. From above, the typical Korean urban landscape appears. Large apartment complexes sit in clear rectangular clusters, arterial roads divide the districts, and wooded hills rise between neighbourhoods and are left largely unbuilt.
Streams run through the city in straightened channels, often with green strips along their banks, and they show as long lines through the street pattern. Older residential areas have short, irregular streets, while newer districts are more ordered. Toward the edges, rice paddies and small villages appear in the valleys between hills.
Place names in Korea repeat often, and the name Masan is also shared with the better-known harbour city in the southeast, now part of Changwon. This poster follows the coordinates listed here, so the map shows the streets, streams and hills around that point. A Masan map poster made this way is a precise portrait of one particular place, not a general image.

Stream corridors
Urban streams run through the districts in long, gently curving channels. Their green banks act as open lines through the dense street network.
Green ridges
Wooded hills stay mostly unbuilt, leaving soft open shapes between neighbourhoods and giving the poster areas of calm among the streets.

Zakaj Masan
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A map pinned to exact coordinates is a personal choice. It could mark where you grew up, where you lived as an exchange student or where your family still lives. Because the poster shows the precise location, it records what matters to you.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to add a district name in Hangul or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the orderly geometry of the apartment districts.
