Delta waterways
Meandering rivers and creeks divide the land into irregular islands and strips, forming the dominant pattern of the poster and giving it a flowing, organic character.

Mathba Map Poster & Print
Mathba lies in Barisal Division, in the far south of Bangladesh, where the rivers of the Ganges delta divide into a maze of channels before reaching the Bay of Bengal. The town itself is a modest cluster of streets and market lanes, but the landscape around it is defined almost entirely by water, which shapes where people build and how they travel.
From above, rivers and tidal creeks wind in every direction, with raised roads and embankments running alongside them. Villages follow these higher lines of ground, so settlement appears as long ribbons rather than solid blocks. Ponds and paddy fields fill the spaces in between, giving the map a delicate, fragmented texture.
A Mathba map poster turns this intricate pattern into a quiet graphic study. The curving waterways contrast with the few straighter roads, and the town centre reads as a denser knot where routes converge. It is a print for those who know how much the rhythm of daily life here depends on the rivers and the tides.

Ribbon settlements
Homes and villages line raised roads and riverbanks, so on the map settlement appears as thin, continuous threads following the waterways across the countryside.
Town centre knot
Where roads and river routes meet, the town's market streets form a compact, darker cluster that gives the composition a clear focal point.
