Grand Large reservoir
The reservoir's broad, uneven outline dominates the northern side of the map. Its single calm form frames the town and gives the poster its strongest contrast.

Meyzieu Map Poster & Print
Meyzieu lies at the eastern edge of the Lyon metropolitan area, on flat ground above the Rhône plain. From above, its northern side is unmistakable: the Grand Large, a wide reservoir on the Jonage canal, spreads its irregular shoreline beside the town, with the green expanse of Miribel-Jonage beyond. South of the water, the street network mixes old village lanes with later suburban housing.
The Jonage canal was dug at the end of the nineteenth century to feed a hydroelectric plant, and the Grand Large reservoir came with it. Today the lake is used for sailing and walking, and on the map it gives Meyzieu something most suburbs lack: a large, calm expanse of open water set directly against the built-up area.
A Meyzieu map poster balances these two halves, water and town. The older centre, the housing estates and the transport lines heading toward Lyon and the airport are all visible, while the lake gives the composition a generous empty space. It is a map with room to breathe, which suits a clean black-and-white treatment.

Jonage canal
The straight channel of the Jonage canal crosses the plain as a clean engineered line, linking Meyzieu to the hydroelectric history of the Lyon area.
Tram line to Lyon
A tram line runs through the town toward central Lyon, and the airport shuttle shares the route. On the map its steady, straight path cuts across the suburban streets.

Zakaj Meyzieu
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Meyzieu is home to many people who work in Lyon but spend weekends by the lake. A map that shows both the streets and the water captures that double life, and it fits naturally into a modern interior.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, then choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the canal's engineered lines, while Paper or Sand soften the lake. Download six print sizes for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
