Confluence of rivers
The Usa joins the Tom at the town's edge, and the two channels wrap the centre in broad curves that anchor the whole composition.

Mezhdurechensk Map Poster & Print
Mezhdurechensk takes its name from its position between rivers, and the map makes that literal. The town fills the tongue of land where the Usa flows into the Tom, so water frames the streets on two sides. The rivers set the shape first, and the built-up area follows their curves rather than a clean rectangle.
Founded in the 1950s as a coal settlement, Mezhdurechensk grew around the large open-pit and underground mines of southern Kuzbass, Raspadskaya among them. On paper this shows up as rail spurs, industrial sites and haul roads fanning out beyond the housing blocks, a working landscape at the edge of the residential grid.
A Mezhdurechensk map poster sets that compact core against the foothills of the Kuznetsk Alatau and Gornaya Shoria. Contour-free, the black-and-white rendering still hints at the terrain: roads bend to follow valleys, and settlement thins quickly where the slopes begin, leaving the rivers as the clearest lines on the sheet.

Mining landscape
Rail lines and access roads run out towards the coal workings, giving the outer ring of the map a sparse, linear, distinctly industrial character.
Mountain margins
Beyond the last streets, roads narrow into valley routes heading towards the Kuznetsk Alatau, so the city ends abruptly rather than sprawling outward.
