Central plateau setting
Mgandu sits on Tanzania's inland plateau, far from the coast and the big lakes. On the map this shows up as wide open space with few features around the town.

Mgandu Map Poster & Print
Mgandu lies in the Singida Region, in the broad interior of Tanzania where the land rises into a high, open plateau. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets and plots in wide country, with farmland, scrub and seasonal watercourses spreading around it. It is the kind of place that a map shows clearly: a settled centre, a few roads leading out, and a great deal of space.
The street pattern is modest and practical. Roads meet at a handful of junctions, and around them sit houses, yards, markets and small fields. Further out, the lines thin into tracks that connect Mgandu to neighbouring villages and farms. Drawn in black and white, these few lines stand out sharply against the empty paper, much as the town stands out on the plateau.
A Mgandu map poster suits a place like this. It records the real layout of a town that rarely appears in print, and it keeps the proportions honest: a small centre, long approaches and open land. For people who grew up here, worked here or have family in the region, that simple outline often says more than a photograph would.

Compact town centre
The built-up area is small and easy to read, a close group of streets and plots where the main roads meet before spreading out into the countryside.
Roads into the country
Lines leave the centre in several directions and slowly become tracks. They show how Mgandu connects to the farms and villages of the Singida Region.
