Miyoshi Map Poster & Print
Miyoshi sits in a basin in the northern hills of Hiroshima Prefecture. Its defining feature is water: three rivers flow in from different directions and join here to form the Gōnokawa, which continues on toward the Sea of Japan. On a map, the town spreads across the flat land between these channels, with bridges linking neighbourhoods that the rivers separate.
The basin is known for its seas of cloud. On cool autumn mornings, mist fills the valley and the town disappears beneath it, seen from the surrounding hills. Summer brings cormorant fishing on the river, a tradition that has continued here for a long time and is part of the city's identity.
A Miyoshi map poster shows the confluence clearly. The rivers form a branching shape at the centre of the sheet, the streets fill the flat ground between them, and the edges fade into forested slopes. It is a map where geography is obvious at a glance, which makes it well suited to a clean black-and-white print.

Bridges
Where the town spreads across the separate river banks, bridges connect the districts. On the poster they appear as short, repeated crossings over the wide bands of water.
Surrounding hills
Forested slopes enclose the basin on every side, and the map becomes sparse where the ground rises. That emptiness frames the valley and explains the famous morning mist.

Zakaj Miyoshi
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Miyoshi is a place defined by its rivers, and a map poster makes that immediately visible. It suits people who grew up here, people who visited to see the sea of clouds, or anyone who enjoys maps shaped by terrain.
Add a family name, a year or the words for a memorable morning in the title and subtitle, and keep the coordinates line or change it. Five styles are available. Noir and Blueprint make the rivers stand out especially well.
