Route 59
The main commercial road runs east to west through the area. It is where shops and services gather, and it appears on the map as a clear dividing line.

Monsey Map Poster & Print
Monsey is a hamlet in the Town of Ramapo in Rockland County, New York, about an hour north of Manhattan. It has no formal city boundary of its own, but it has a strong identity. It is home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities in the United States, with many synagogues, schools and shops serving it.
From above, Monsey is mostly residential. There are curving streets, cul-de-sacs and small blocks set among tree cover, with commercial activity along Route 59. The New York State Thruway passes nearby, and the Palisades Interstate Parkway lies to the east. Together they form major lines around the finer local streets.
A Monsey map poster shows a neighbourhood defined by its community rather than by a grid. The looping streets follow the gentle Rockland terrain, and the highways mark its edges. In black and white, the pattern is detailed but calm, suited to a home filled with family and tradition.

Looping side streets
Most of Monsey consists of curving residential roads and cul-de-sacs. Their soft shapes give the poster an organic, woven texture.
Highway frame
The Thruway and nearby parkways surround the hamlet with long, flowing lines. They link it to the rest of the Hudson Valley and New York City.
