Monterey Map Poster & Print
Monterey sits on the southern shore of Monterey Bay on California's central coast. On a map the bay is the dominant shape, curving away to the north, while the city fills the land along its southern edge and climbs into hills covered with pine and oak toward the peninsula.
Monterey was the capital of Alta California under Spanish and Mexican rule, and the delegates who drafted California's first constitution met here at Colton Hall in 1849. Its historic centre still holds adobe buildings, and along the waterfront Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium mark the former sardine canning district.
A Monterey map poster shows how compact and varied the city is: the older downtown near the wharf, the Presidio on its hill, the long waterfront path and the winding roads that lead toward Pacific Grove and the forest. It is a clear, elegant portrait of a coastal town.

Zakaj Monterey
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Monterey is where people come to watch the bay, study at its schools or spend long coastal weekends. A map carries that sense of place home, especially for those who have left the coast.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows the bay with particular clarity.
