Moreno Valley Map Poster & Print
Moreno Valley spreads across a wide valley floor in western Riverside County, east of the city of Riverside. The map is dominated by a large, regular grid of arterial roads spaced roughly a mile apart, filled in with curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs typical of Southern California suburbs. State Route 60 crosses the north of the city, and Interstate 215 runs along its western side.
Hills frame the valley on several sides, with the Box Springs Mountains to the north-west and rugged terrain to the east. March Air Reserve Base lies along the south-western edge, and Lake Perris, a reservoir and recreation area, sits just to the south. The city was incorporated in 1984, uniting older communities that included Sunnymead, Edgemont and Moreno.
A Moreno Valley map poster shows the tidy logic of the grid set against the irregular hills and the water of the lake. It works well for residents, for families who moved to the Inland Empire in search of space, and for anyone who has served at March and still remembers the valley from above.

Lake Perris
South of the city, the reservoir at Lake Perris adds a large, irregular body of water surrounded by open hills to the lower part of the map.
Box Springs Mountains
To the north-west, bare hills rise abruptly from the valley floor, cutting off the grid and giving the map a strong natural edge.
