Old Hickory Lake
The reservoir on the Cumberland River forms the northern edge of the area. Its indented shoreline of coves and inlets is the most intricate line on the map.

Mount Juliet Map Poster & Print
Mount Juliet lies in Wilson County, Tennessee, east of Nashville. From above, it is a classic Middle Tennessee suburb: looping residential streets and cul-de-sacs laid out in neighbourhood clusters, connected by a handful of main roads running north to south between the interstate and the lake.
Interstate 40 crosses the southern part of the city, and the area around its interchange holds large shopping and commercial developments. To the north, the city reaches toward Old Hickory Lake, the reservoir on the Cumberland River, where the shoreline breaks into coves and inlets. Mount Juliet has grown quickly over recent decades as Nashville expanded.
A Mount Juliet map poster shows the pattern of modern suburban growth in clear detail. The curving streets create soft, organic shapes, the interstate adds a strong straight line and the lake's shoreline brings irregular water to the top of the frame.

Interstate 40
The interstate runs east to west across the south of the city. It gives the composition a firm, straight counterpoint to the curving neighbourhood streets.
Cul-de-sac neighbourhoods
Residential subdivisions with looping roads and dead-end streets cover much of the city. From above they look like clusters of branching loops.
