Fort enclosure
The line of the old fortifications traces a large, distinct shape around the historic core. It is the most recognisable feature of the whole map.

Mudgal Map Poster & Print
Mudgal is in the Raichur district of northern Karnataka, on the dry, rock-strewn Deccan plateau. The map is shaped by its fort. Remains of walls and a moat outline a large enclosure, and the old town's narrow, winding lanes fill the space in and around it. Newer streets extend outward along the roads to neighbouring towns.
The fort was contested for centuries, particularly between the Vijayanagara Empire and the Bahmani and later Deccan sultanates, which fought repeatedly over the fertile Raichur Doab. That long history left layered fortifications, and the town grew in close relation to them. Few places of this size show their defences so clearly in plan.
A Mudgal map poster captures that historic outline in a clean, modern form. The curve of the fort, the dense old lanes and the looser newer streets make a clear, layered composition. It is a strong choice for anyone interested in the Deccan's history, or for people from the town itself.

Old town lanes
Inside and near the fort, streets are narrow and irregular and follow older paths. They create a dense, finely textured centre.
Plateau roads
Main roads head out across the flat, open Deccan landscape toward nearby towns. They give the map clear directional lines beyond the walls.

Zakaj Mudgal
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Mudgal's plan tells its history at a glance, and that is why people frame it. The fort outline works as both a personal memento and a quietly striking graphic.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a year, and add the coordinates. Choose from five styles. Paper or Sand suits the fort's age, and Blueprint sharpens the walls.
