Mwandege Map Poster & Print
Mwandege lies in Mkuranga district of Pwani Region, just past the southern edge of Dar es Salaam. On a map it is defined by the main road heading south toward Kilwa. A growing network of residential streets branches from it into land that was farmland and coastal bush until recently. The pattern is loose and still expanding, with new plots filling in between older homesteads.
Like much of the land around the city, Mwandege has changed quickly as Dar es Salaam has grown. Families come here for space and building plots within reach of the capital. Schools, markets and small businesses line the main road. Just behind them, cashew trees, gardens and open ground are still part of the landscape.
A Mwandege map poster captures a place in transition, where the regular lines of new subdivisions meet the irregular tracks of an older rural landscape. The long road anchors the composition, and the scatter of streets around it loosens it. It records a stage of growth that will look different in a few years.

New subdivisions
Blocks of newly laid-out plots appear as small regular grids. They show clearly where planned housing has spread onto former farmland.
Rural edges
Past the newer streets, winding tracks, gardens and patches of bush fill the map and soften the composition toward the edges of the sheet.

Zakaj Mwandege
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For many people, Mwandege is where they finally built their own house after years of renting in the city. A map poster marks that achievement, showing the plot, the road into town and the streets around it as they are now.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the year you built, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
