Myrhorod Map Poster & Print
Myrhorod lies in Poltava Oblast in central Ukraine, on the Khorol River. The river winds past the town in a series of curves, and the map follows that line: the centre sits near the water, with parks and the spa district along the bank and residential streets extending away from it across level ground.
The town is best known for two things. It is a long-established spa resort, and its mineral water, bottled as Myrhorodska, is familiar across Ukraine. It also gave its name to Mirgorod, Nikolai Gogol's collection of stories set in the region, which has kept the town present in literature for nearly two centuries.
A Myrhorod map poster shows the relationship between town and river clearly: the looping Khorol, the green spaces of the resort area, the bridges crossing the water and the grid of streets beyond. It is an understated, balanced composition that suits the character of a calm provincial town.

Town grid
Away from the river, residential streets settle into a more regular pattern across flat land, balancing the soft outlines of the water.

Zakaj Myrhorod
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For Ukrainians living in other cities or abroad, Myrhorod may hold memories of family, holidays at the spa or the stories of Gogol. A map of its river and streets is a thoughtful way to keep that place present at home.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, in Ukrainian transliteration or English. Five styles are available, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, so the poster can match a quiet reading corner or a modern living room.
