Nadvirna Map Poster & Print
Nadvirna lies in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of western Ukraine, at the point where the lowland of Prykarpattia begins to rise toward the Carpathian mountains. On a map the Bystrytsia river runs through the area in braided channels, with gravel banks and islands, and the town spreads along it, its streets fanning out across the flatter ground before the slopes begin.
The town is an old settlement that grew into a regional centre, and it is known for its oil refinery, one of the older industrial sites in the region. On the map, industrial areas and the railway form strong, straight lines that contrast with the curving river and the irregular streets of the older residential districts.
To the south, roads and the railway climb toward the mountain resorts of the Carpathians, making Nadvirna a gateway to the hills. A Nadvirna map poster captures that position between plain and mountain, with the river, railway and forested slopes framing a town that sits at a natural threshold.

Industrial and rail lines
The refinery and railway form long, straight shapes through the town, a clear contrast with the curving river and residential streets.
Carpathian foothills
South of the town the ground rises into forested hills, and roads begin to wind upward, giving the map an open, mountainous edge.

Zakaj Nadvirna
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For many people from Prykarpattia, Nadvirna is the start of the road into the mountains or the town where family still lives. A map of it holds that sense of home and threshold, and it makes a thoughtful gift for relatives abroad.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name and a date, then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The braided river looks striking in Blueprint.
