Nanuet Map Poster & Print
Nanuet is a hamlet in the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County, west of the Hudson River. On a map it shows a pattern many post-war suburbs share: a few long arterial roads carry the traffic, and neighbourhoods of curving streets and short cul-de-sacs branch off them. Blocks of houses fill the spaces between the main routes, with no single historic grid at the centre.
Major highways pass close by and cut clean, strong lines across the surrounding map. A commuter rail line runs through the hamlet on a gentler diagonal. The regional shopping centre, long a local landmark, sits as a large block among the smaller residential parcels, easy to pick out from above by its size and its wide surrounding lots.
A Nanuet map poster turns this everyday landscape into a clear graphic, with the bold strokes of the highways, the thin line of the railway and the finer texture of the neighbourhoods. It is an honest portrait of a place people know from daily routines: school runs, commutes and weekend errands.

Commuter rail
A single rail line crosses the hamlet, a thin steady line that links Nanuet to the wider New York metropolitan network.
Cul-de-sac neighbourhoods
Between the main roads, residential streets curl into loops and dead ends, which gives the map a delicate, branching look.
