Nianzishan Map Poster & Print
Nianzishan is a district of Qiqihar in western Heilongjiang, lying some distance from the main city near the border with Inner Mongolia. It takes its name from a hill in the area, and its compact settlement sits where the broad Songnen Plain begins to meet the rising foothills to the west.
On a map the district's town appears as a modest cluster of streets beside a river, with rail and road lines leading away across farmland. The surrounding land is open and lightly settled, marked by field patterns, scattered villages and the curving courses of streams.
A Nianzishan map poster is a quiet, understated piece. With few streets and wide empty space, the river and the town's small grid carry the whole composition. It is suited to those who come from this corner of Heilongjiang and want a record of it that is simple and honest.

Compact centre
The district town is small and tightly drawn, so its streets read as a single clear block surrounded by open land.
Plain meets hills
To the west the flat farmland starts to give way to higher ground, visible as the road network thins and bends.

Zakaj Nianzishan
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Small places at the edge of a province are often left off maps altogether. A print of Nianzishan gives the district its own space on the wall and a lasting reminder for people who grew up there.
Add a personal title, subtitle and coordinates, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The minimal composition works especially well in the Noir and Paper styles.
