Dense town core
The oldest part of Nīmbāhera is a close-knit mesh of narrow lanes. It prints as a darker, finely textured patch at the heart of the composition.

Nīmbāhera Map Poster & Print
Nīmbāhera sits in Chittorgarh district in southern Rajasthan, close to the state line with Madhya Pradesh. From above, the town reads as a dense core of short, irregular lanes. A few main roads cut through it and carry on out into flat, cultivated country. Beyond the built-up edge, fields break into small rectangular parcels, and the lines of rural tracks connect the town to the villages around it.
The area is known across India for its limestone. Nīmbāhera stone, a hard grey-blue building and flooring stone, has long been quarried here, and large cement works now sit on the town's outskirts. On a map these industrial sites show as big geometric blocks with their own internal roads. They look very different from the fine grain of the old residential streets, and that contrast gives the drawing a clear structure.
A Nīmbāhera map poster keeps what matters in a small town's plan: the tight centre, the roads that lead out towards Chittorgarh and Neemuch, and the gradual thinning of streets into farmland. In black and white, without traffic or signage, the town becomes a clear diagram of how a regional trading and quarrying centre grew around its crossroads.

Quarry and cement land
Limestone working and cement production take up large areas around the town. On the map they appear as broad, orderly blocks next to the irregular residential streets.
Roads to the region
Main routes run out from the centre towards neighbouring districts. They form the long lines that anchor the town within the wider agricultural landscape of southern Rajasthan.
