Irrigation network
Canals and ditches cross the valley in long lines, dividing the land into cultivated plots and giving the map a steady, repeating structure around the town.

Nuevo Imperial Map Poster & Print
Nuevo Imperial is a district in the Cañete province of the Lima region, set in the fertile valley of the Cañete River a short way inland from the Pacific. From above, the town centre is a modest cluster of streets surrounded on every side by irrigated fields, canals and rural roads that divide the valley floor.
The Cañete valley is one of the agricultural areas that supply the coast, and Nuevo Imperial belongs to that farming landscape. The district sits slightly further inland than its neighbour Imperial, and the dry hills at the edge of the valley are never far away, marking the limit of irrigated land.
A Nuevo Imperial map poster shows how closely town and farmland are bound together here. The streets form a small, regular shape, and the fields spread out in a patchwork of lines and plots, while the edge of the desert hills turns into open, empty space around the composition.

Small town centre
The town centre is a compact grid of streets that forms the main dense area on the map, surrounded by much sparser rural land.
Valley edge
The irrigated valley meets dry hills at its margins, a transition that appears as a boundary between detailed field patterns and open space.
