Nunungan Map Poster & Print
Nunungan is an inland municipality in Lanao del Norte, in Northern Mindanao in the Philippines. It lies in hilly, upland country away from the coast, and on a map the terrain sets the pattern. The town centre is a small cluster of streets, and the roads that serve it wind through the hills rather than running in straight lines.
The surrounding land is mostly rural, with farmland, forest and scattered barangays linked by roads and trails that follow ridges and valleys. Mountain streams run down through the terrain, and their branching lines cover much of the map outside the town. The settlement pattern is thin and spread out, with much open ground between communities.
A Nunungan map poster presents this upland landscape honestly: a modest centre, winding roads and a dense network of streams across the hills. In black and white the effect is quiet and detailed, very different from a coastal city grid, and a meaningful piece for families from the municipality and for Mindanaoans living elsewhere.
