Separate districts
Several distinct clusters of streets, each one a former village, make up the town. Together they form a scattered pattern rather than a single centre.

Orzesze Map Poster & Print
Orzesze lies in Mikołów County in Poland's Silesian Voivodeship, just south of the dense industrial cities of Upper Silesia. On the map, it does not look like a compact town. It looks like a group of separate settlements, each with its own cluster of streets, spread out across a landscape where forest takes up a large share of the land.
That pattern comes from the town's history. Orzesze grew from several villages that were later brought together under one administration, and the gaps between them were never fully built over. Roads run through the woods from one district to the next. Houses line them in long ribbons, which gives the map a branching, almost leaf-like shape.
An Orzesze map poster shows an unusual side of Silesia: a region usually tied to mines and heavy industry, seen here as a place where homes sit among trees. In black and white, large blank areas of forest surround the delicate street patterns, giving the composition a calm, airy balance.

Forest clearings
Large wooded areas fill the space between neighbourhoods and show up as broad open fields on the poster, framing the built-up areas like islands.
Ribbon streets
Houses stretch along the connecting roads in long lines, giving the map its branching shape and the sense of a town spread through the woods.
