Smooth bodies of water sit close to the town and along the valley. They break up the flat grid of streets with soft, open shapes.

Pantelimon Map Poster & Print
Pantelimon lies just east of Bucharest, in Ilfov County, where the capital's growth meets the flat Wallachian plain. The map shows a place in transition. Older village streets and household plots sit beside new residential developments with neat grids of houses and apartment blocks, many of them built in recent decades.
Water helps shape the area. Lakes and reservoirs along the Colentina valley and around the town appear as smooth shapes among the streets and fields. The main roads out of the capital cross the area, and Bucharest's ring road links it with the rest of the metropolitan region.
Pantelimon became a town in the 2000s, and its map still shows that recent growth, with fresh grids placed across old field boundaries. A Pantelimon map poster records a suburb as it takes shape, with the flat plain and the water around it.

New residential grids
Recent developments follow tight, regular street patterns. They stand out clearly against the older, looser village plots nearby.
Road links to Bucharest
Main roads and the ring road connect the town to the capital. On the poster they form strong lines through the layout.
