River bend
The town grew along a winding river, and its densest streets hug the water. It is the strongest line on the map and the natural focus of the composition.

Pār Naogaon Map Poster & Print
Pār Naogaon is part of the urban area of Naogaon, the administrative centre of Naogaon District in Rajshahi Division. The land here is almost completely flat. It belongs to the wide alluvial plain of northwestern Bangladesh, where rivers, ponds and paddy fields make up most of the map. The town's streets gather along the river and thin out quickly into farmland and villages.
The district is known as one of the country's major rice-growing areas. It is also home to the ruins of the Somapura Mahavihara at Paharpur, a large Buddhist monastery complex listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town itself is a working market centre, with roads radiating outward to the surrounding upazilas.
A Pār Naogaon map poster is a study in quiet geometry. A meandering river and a network of small roads meet a scattering of ponds, drawn with fine lines against open space. It suits people who know the place well, because it shows the town simply as it is, without needing famous landmarks to make its case.

Ponds and tanks
Small bodies of water are scattered through and around the town, which is typical of the Bengal plain. They appear as a light pattern of shapes between the roads.
Radiating roads
Routes leave the centre in several directions toward nearby market towns and villages, which gives the outline a loose, star-like spread across flat country.
