Park Ridge Map Poster & Print
Park Ridge lies just northwest of Chicago, on slightly higher ground that gave the city its name. Most of it is a calm grid of residential blocks lined with trees, typical of older railroad suburbs. The Metra line and Northwest Highway run together through it on a diagonal. That single slanted stroke breaks the grid and marks where the town first grew around its station.
The west side of the map is dominated by O'Hare International Airport. Its runways and terminals fill the frame beyond the city limits with long, bold geometry. Nearer the centre, Uptown Park Ridge gathers shops and civic buildings around the station. Parks, school grounds and golf courses open up lighter spaces between the houses.
A Park Ridge map poster shows how neatly a commuter suburb is put together: rail at the heart, a grid around it, the airport at the edge. The city is often mentioned as the place where Hillary Rodham Clinton grew up. Its earlier history is tied to brick-making, which drew the first settlers to the clay along the ridge.

O'Hare runways
To the west, the long runways of O'Hare airport form a crisp pattern of crossing lines. It is a striking contrast to the small residential blocks.
Parks and fairways
Golf courses, parks and school fields open up pale areas within the grid. Along the western side, the Des Plaines River forest preserves add a softer, winding edge.

Zakaj Park Ridge
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Park Ridge is a place people return to in memory: first homes, school years, the walk to the train. A map of its grid and its diagonal line captures that familiarity with no decoration. It suits both a family house nearby and an apartment far away.
Add a family name, a move-in date or the years you spent there in the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy it as a $9 digital file or as a printed poster on matte paper.
