Pekan Bahapal Map Poster & Print
Pekan Bahapal is in North Sumatra, in the lowland plantation belt between the provincial capital Medan and Lake Toba. Pekan means market town in Malay and Indonesian, and the map fits the name. Its streets cluster around a main road, where local trade, schools and houses meet the traffic passing through.
The countryside here is dominated by estate agriculture, mainly oil palm and rubber. Plantations are often laid out in very regular blocks of rows and access tracks. From above they form a strong geometric backdrop, with long straight lines and clear edges that stand out against the looser, more organic street pattern of the settlement itself.
A Pekan Bahapal map poster is for people with a personal link to this part of Sumatra: family, work on the estates, or a childhood spent here. The print is simple and quiet. It shows a small town and the plantation land around it, in the same understated black and white as every other map in the collection.

Plantation blocks
The surrounding estates are divided into regular blocks and tracks. Their straight lines and right angles make the countryside look almost like a drawn grid.
Scattered settlement
Away from the centre, houses and hamlets follow smaller roads and field edges. The built-up area gradually thins out into the farmland.
