Dispersed settlement
Houses and buildings spread along roads rather than clustering in a dense core, creating a loose pattern that is characteristic of Kerala and distinctive on a poster.

Peringottupulam Map Poster & Print
Peringottupulam is a locality in northern Kerala, inland from the Malabar coast. Like much of rural and semi-urban Kerala, it does not have a sharply defined town centre; instead, houses, shops and institutions are spread along roads and lanes that wind through a green landscape of coconut groves, gardens and paddy fields. From above, settlement and countryside blend into each other.
This dispersed pattern is one of the most characteristic features of Kerala's geography, where villages and towns often merge into a continuous but loose fabric. On a map, it shows up as a web of curving lines rather than a grid, with small waterways and low hills influencing where roads can go.
A Peringottupulam map poster captures that fabric in black and white: main roads as confident strokes, lanes branching and looping between them, and open ground where fields and groves lie. The result is an organic, intricate composition that reflects the way people actually live in this part of India.

Winding lanes
Narrow lanes curve and branch between the main roads, following the terrain and property lines, and give the map a fine, organic network of lines.
Green open ground
Paddy fields, coconut groves and gardens leave irregular open areas between the lanes, providing calm white space throughout the composition.
