Perth Map Poster & Print
Perth is built around the Swan River, which here hardly behaves like a river at all. Just below the city centre it opens into Perth Water and then the much larger Melville Water, wide pale basins that dominate any map of the city. Streets follow the curving shorelines, and suburbs spread away from the water in every direction across the flat coastal plain.
West of the centre, Kings Park occupies a raised block of bushland above the river, larger than many city parks and largely free of roads. The Narrows Bridge carries the freeway across the tight point between the two basins. Downstream, the river meets the Indian Ocean at Fremantle, and a long straight coastline of beaches runs north past Cottesloe and Scarborough.
Perth is often described as one of the most isolated major cities in the world, closer to parts of Southeast Asia than to Sydney. It is the capital of Western Australia and the base for much of the state's mining industry. A Perth map poster frames that remoteness through the calm shapes of river, park and coast.

Kings Park
More than 400 hectares of parkland and native bushland on Mount Eliza, it rises beside the central business district and reads as an almost solid block.
The Narrows
A pinch point in the river where the Narrows Bridge and the Kwinana Freeway cross, linking the city centre with the suburbs to the south.

Zakaj Perth
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Perth draws people from far away, and many leave again carrying the memory of its light and its river. A black-and-white print of the Swan and the coast is a simple way to keep that place in view, whether it was home for a year or a lifetime.
Give the poster a custom title and a subtitle, perhaps a suburb or an arrival date, and adjust the coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand are available, as HD files for $9 or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
