Large post-war residential blocks with curving access roads dominate the plan. They create broad, regular shapes with generous open space between them.

Polkowice Map Poster & Print
Polkowice lies in Lower Silesia, in south-western Poland, at the heart of the Legnica-Głogów Copper District. The town's modern form is closely tied to the copper industry. Nearby mines operated by KGHM drew workers here in the second half of the twentieth century, and the town grew rapidly to house them.
That history shows clearly on the map. A small older core is surrounded by planned housing estates with their broad blocks, looping access roads and open green spaces between apartment buildings. Around the town, forest and farmland alternate with industrial sites, rail lines and the service roads of the mining landscape.
A Polkowice map poster turns that planned, industrial-era pattern into an unexpectedly elegant design. Superblocks and green gaps give it a strong rhythm. For mining families and for anyone who grew up in these estates, it makes a meaningful piece.

Forest edges
Woodland and fields press close to the built-up area on several sides. The empty spaces frame the town and give the poster a clear outline.
