Delta canals
Irrigation channels run across the plain in long, gently curving lines. They divide the fields and carry water from the Krishna system into the surrounding farmland.

Ponnur Map Poster & Print
Ponnur lies in the Guntur region of Andhra Pradesh, on the low, level ground of the Krishna delta, not far from the Bay of Bengal. On a map the town is a compact centre of streets and markets. Around it spreads a wide agricultural landscape. Irrigation canals and field boundaries divide the countryside into long, regular plots, and roads link the town to neighbouring villages and larger centres.
The delta is one of the most productive farming regions in southern India, watered by a network of canals drawn from the Krishna. Rice dominates the fields, and the rhythm of planting and harvest shapes the town's markets and roads. Ponnur's temples and older streets form the heart of the settlement, and newer housing has spread outward along the main routes.
A Ponnur map poster records that relationship between a busy town and its fields. The canals give the map a distinctive linear texture, and the town centre is a denser, more irregular block. In a minimalist style, the view recalls the delta's calm, flat geography, where water, farmland and settlement are closely tied together.

Market core
The town's centre is a closely built network of streets, shops and temples. On the map it forms a tight knot where the main roads meet.
Rice field plots
Beyond the built-up area, the land is divided into long, narrow fields. Together they create a fine, repeating texture at the edges of the poster.
