Porto Alegre Map Poster & Print
Porto Alegre's historic centre occupies a point of land reaching into the Guaíba, the broad body of water formed where several rivers meet before flowing toward the Lagoa dos Patos. On the map the centre is a compact grid on that peninsula, with the waterfront curving around it and the city spreading out to the north and east.
The city is known for its sunsets over the Guaíba and for the Mercado Público, its traditional public market. Farther south, a series of hills, the morros, breaks up the street pattern, while the islands of the Jacuí delta lie to the northwest. In 2024 severe floods affected large parts of the city and the surrounding state.
A Porto Alegre map poster shows a city shaped by its long waterfront. The dense centre on its peninsula, the sweeping curve of the shoreline and the irregular pattern of the southern hills make for a composition with a strong sense of place and a natural balance between built and open space.

Zakaj Porto Alegre
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Porto Alegre has a strong regional identity, and its residents often feel a deep attachment to their neighbourhoods and waterfront. A map poster turns that familiar shoreline into something to display at home or in a studio, or to give to someone who has moved away.
Add a custom title, subtitle and date, and choose from five styles; Blueprint and Noir make the Guaíba stand out. The $9 digital files include six print sizes with no watermark, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame from print partners in more than 30 countries.
