Porto Belo Map Poster & Print
Porto Belo lies on the coast of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, between Itapema and the Bombinhas peninsula. On a map, the town wraps around a deep, sheltered bay. Streets follow the curve of the shore and then climb into the hills behind, where the grid gives way to winding roads and forest.
Ilha de Porto Belo, a wooded island, sits in the water just off the coast. The calm bay has made the town a port of call for cruise ships and a base for boat trips. Along the waterfront, the map shows a line of beaches separated by small headlands.
A Porto Belo map poster puts the coastline at the centre of the composition. The rounded bay, the island and the peninsula framing the water create shapes that read clearly in black and white. The town's streets add detail along the shore without crowding the view.
