Prostějov Map Poster & Print
Prostějov sits in the middle of the Haná, one of the most fertile and level parts of Moravia. Without hills or a large river to shape it, the town grew outwards from its historic centre in a fairly even ring. On a map the old core is easy to find: a dense cluster of short streets around the main square, with broader avenues and parks tracing the line of the former town edge.
For a long time Prostějov was a centre of the Czech clothing and tailoring industry, and it was often described as the capital of ready-to-wear fashion. Architecture is another point of pride. The Národní dům, a theatre and community building designed by Jan Kotěra, is among the finest Art Nouveau interiors in the country.
A Prostějov map poster shows a town with a clear centre and a steady rhythm around it: the square, the inner ring, the residential blocks, the railway, and then the open Haná fields. In black and white the pattern is balanced and calm. It is a good fit for anyone who likes maps that are orderly without being rigid.

Green inner edge
Parks and tree-lined streets around the old centre follow the former boundary of the town, forming a soft ring on the map.
Haná farmland
The flat plain around the town appears as long, straight roads and broad field boundaries leading off towards the neighbouring villages.

Zakaj Prostějov
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Prostějov is the kind of town people stay loyal to, whether they left for Prague or Brno or never left at all. A clean street map of it, framed on a wall, is a modest and lasting reminder of the square, the parks and the familiar routes home.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a wedding date or the name of a street. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
