Valley town centre
The main streets gather on the lower ground where building is easiest. They form a tight, irregular cluster at the heart of the map.

Pulü Map Poster & Print
Pulü lies in the rolling hill country of Chongqing municipality, north-west of the main urban area. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets set in a valley. Roads curve along the lower ground and climb gently over the ridges toward neighbouring villages. Beyond the houses, the land breaks into small fields, terraces and ponds.
Towns of this kind act as market and service centres for the surrounding countryside, where farming follows the contours of the hills. Water is stored in small reservoirs and ponds, and the network of narrow rural roads connects many scattered hamlets. The overall pattern is irregular, practical and closely tied to the land.
A Pulü map poster keeps that character. There is a dense centre, winding approaches and a scattering of water shapes across the countryside. The composition is organic and uneven. For people with family ties to this part of Chongqing, it is an accurate and quietly personal picture.

Contour roads
Roads leave town along the valleys and around the hills. Their curves give the edges of the poster a soft, flowing movement.
Scattered ponds
Small ponds and reservoirs dot the surrounding farmland. They add a pattern of irregular shapes between the fields and roads.

Zakaj Pulü
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many families who left small Chongqing towns for larger cities keep a strong attachment to them. A map of Pulü, with its valley streets and ponds, is a simple way to hold on to that.
Add a title in English or pinyin, a subtitle and the coordinates. Choose from five styles. Paper suits the soft hills, and Blueprint gives the winding roads a clean, technical feel.
