Dense town centre
Narrow, closely packed streets form the core of the town. They create a dark, textured area in the middle of the print.

Quţūr Map Poster & Print
Quţūr is a town in Gharbia governorate in Egypt, in the central Nile Delta between Tanta and the northern delta cities. The land here is completely flat and intensively cultivated. Irrigation canals and field boundaries cover almost the entire map, and villages lie scattered across it at short intervals.
The town itself is a dense cluster of streets. In the older parts they are narrow and irregular, and they become more regular towards the newer edges. Roads and canals leave town in several directions, often running side by side, and the fields between them form a fine, geometric texture. The overall effect is a compact settlement in a carefully divided landscape.
A Quţūr map poster suits people from the town or its surrounding villages who now live in Cairo, the Gulf or further away. It shows home in the context of the delta farmland that has supported it for centuries.

Irrigation canals
Canals cross the landscape in long lines, often alongside the roads. They are the arteries of Nile Delta agriculture.
Delta patchwork
Small fields and nearby villages cover the flat land around the town. At poster scale they create an even, geometric pattern.
