Redding Map Poster & Print
Redding lies at the northern end of the Sacramento Valley, where flat farmland gives way to the foothills of the Cascades and the Klamath Mountains. The Sacramento River curves through the middle of the city, and much of the map is organised around it. The older downtown grid sits near the water, while newer subdivisions and wide arterials spread over the surrounding terraces and hills.
The city's best-known landmark is on the river: the Sundial Bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2004, a pedestrian bridge whose tilted mast works as a giant sundial. It connects Turtle Bay Exploration Park with gardens and trails along the banks, and the Sacramento River Trail loops through the green corridor beside the water.
A Redding map poster shows a city defined by its landscape: the winding river, Interstate 5 running north toward Shasta Lake and Mount Shasta, and the irregular streets that hug the hills on the edges. It is a strong, readable composition with the river as its natural centre, and it scales well to the larger print sizes.

Sundial Bridge
Calatrava's glass-decked footbridge crosses the river near Turtle Bay. On the map it is a slim diagonal marking one of the most recognisable structures in California.
Downtown grid
Near the river, the historic downtown forms a regular block pattern that contrasts with the looser, curving streets of the newer hillside districts.

Zakaj Redding
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Redding is a base for lakes, rivers and mountains, and many people who live here chose it for exactly that. A map of the city with its river and surrounding hills reflects that outdoor character in a quiet, graphic way.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a date, a trail name or a family name, and keep the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then order a matte print with an optional frame or download the files for $9.
